Exhibition

Christopher Swan’s dramatic photography exhibition “Bless The Weather” was put up at the start of October. His work shows the Isle of Harris throughout the changing seasons and captures the majestic changes in light we so often experience in the colder months. After a quiet opening evening, the gallery has been abuzz with interest and a number of photographs are now proudly gracing the walls of art lovers.

The exhibition runs until the end of December 2018.

Games Afternoons

Our fortnightly games afternoons have proved a popular hub of sociability and friendly competition. With people of all ages attending, we have found this a great way to spend a cold and blustery afternoon.

Musical Memories

The Harris Voluntary service ran a “Musical Memories” afternoon in October, a caring and communal service which works to provide conversation and aid in the upkeep of cognitive exercise to those with dementia. The members of the group had a lovely time and we hope to welcome them back for future meetings.
