Twelve Stripes an exhibition by Michael Faint

We are delighted to welcome Michael to the gallery at Talla na Mara from 12th October until March 2021.

Recently shortlisted in the 2020 Sony World Photography Awards, Michael established An Solas Oir (The Golden Light) in 2019.

His work is a contemporary view of the life and landscape of the Outer Hebrides using abstraction, minimalism and more traditional views.

Twelve Stripes is a collection of Mike’s images made using single exposure at locations within the Outer Hebrides. The resulting images show recognisable characters of locations and situations.
