Margarita Williams is a Harris born artist who trained at Glasgow School of Art. She returned to live in her home village, Quidinish, Cuidhtinis in the Bays of Harris where her ancestry goes back many generations.

Her varied work reflects her love for and response to the unique landscape of the Hebrides. She uses different mediums, watercolour, Indian Ink Japanese woodblock printing and mixed media to achieve her individual artwork.

Also shown in this exhibition is the colourful, as yet unseen work of her late son Gavin Donald Williams.
